Stopped in for Taco Tuesday. Service was excellent. The frozen margarita was very good. I ordered the black bean and sweet potato tacos; good but super spicy. The chips and salsa were excellent. Disappointed that the live music was a DJ.
Really good mexican spot, the service was great and their complementary salsa and chips were beautiful as well! I highly recommend you ask for the Spicy one, it is awesome! We got the grilled burrito and while it was good, I wish I got it wet since it felt like it was missing some flavor. The rice included was also pretty good, overall a great spot for a brunch or dinner with plenty of vegetarian options. The watermelon hibiscus drink was also really good!
During our Newport visit, We tried this restaurant for dinner. Service is great, clean and good ambience. They have outdoor sitting area. Great selections from the menu. We had goat cheese and grilled sweet corn, its amazing. And we had some tacos as well.
First Time here—nice place with lots of seating options. Great Service, very welcoming. Tried several HH offerings. The Shrimp Cucarachas was very good although quite messy and Hot to handle (served in a Hot Skillet). Guacamole was tasty. Salsas were good, as was the Black Bean Dip they serve with the large chips. I didn’t care for the Shrimp Taquitos—very odd (they blend the filling, not sure if they use actual shrimp) and the sauce tasted and smelled like Mayo. I’d rec trying this restaurant at least once. I’ll be back for a group event in a couple weeks and try some other items.
Service is excellent, though the food is just ok. Appetizers are good, big and generous chips and salsa. Guacamole and corn are great. But the entrees could be better, chicken too dry and cold dishes. The drinks could be pricey but excellent. We had a big group with outdoor tables on deck, but the service is top notch.
